Seaside Safari in Bull Island
The fourths had the pleasure of being invited to Bull Island for a Seaside Safari hosted by Marine Dimensions. The children learned about different sealife and also went scavaging on the beach. A big thank you to Sinéad for teaching us so much! The children had a great day.

Japan
Ms. Di Murro's class have been working very hard at the topic of Japan with their student teacher Mr. O Shea. The children painted beautiful cherry blossoms accompanied with a Japanese Haiku poem they wrote themselves. They also completed group projects on Japan. To top it all off, the students learned origami, creating dogs and cranes.

First Day at School
Ms. Di Murro's 4th class have been learning the brilliant poem 'First Day at School' by Roger McGough. We recorded an audio clip reciting the poem. It is full of wonderful imagery and Room 10 put great effort and expression into every word. Enjoy! (can only be played on desktop)

Mr. Rogers's class finished their class novel 'The BFG' by Roald Dahl. Here are their own phizz wizard dream jars

Rainforest Art
Inspired by their study of the rainforest and the Amazon, Ms. Di Murro's class drew the tropical toucan bird free handed and coloured them in with oil pastels with a palm leaf design in the back.

Google Visit
As part of our tech week, Mr. Treacy organised a visit to Google headquarters. The children took part in a Dragon's Den style show in which they had to create a new app. Here are Ms. Rogers' entries. Thank you to Mr. Treacy for organising Tech week. The children really enjoyed it.
