The students took a historical field trip to Kilmainham Gaol to learn more about the 1916 Rising. After the tour, they relaxed and ate their lunch in the Phoenix Park. A day well spent!

Ms Mc. Loughlin's 5th Class

Room 7 have been learning about the Italian Renaissance. The children took Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa's painting and put their own spin it on. The children also made mini models of famous Italian architecture such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Colosseum. Super impressive!

Room 7 have been reading all about space and wrote explanations pieces about the Moon. They also created beautiful paintings of astronauts.

Room 10 have been learning all about China in Geography. They created these beautiful Chinese houseboat silhouettes using paint.

Piet Mondrian

Room 10 were learning all about the work of artist Piet Mondrian. We decided to paint the entire display board and design hrearts for World Kindness Day.
